Among others, I have a 1920 edition of the Book of Mormon. I love to read from it once in a while. Its sameness makes the scriptures so much more real to me. Not that I was expecting the words to be any different from the Book of Mormon in my quad, or from the little blue ones missionaries give to people, but seeing them in the old book really hits me every time. It reminds me that the scriptures have always been the same. These are the words that missionaries spend every single day for 18-24 months trying to share with people. These are the words that Joseph Smith translated by the power of God. These are the words for which many early saints gave their lives. These are the words written by prophets 2000 years ago for their children, for us, for everyone. These words are true.
