I want a temple wedding.
I want to be married in the temple for all time and eternity. It makes so much more sense to me than everyone else’s “‘til death do you part.” I don’t want just a husband; I want an eternal companion.

She never showed up.
She texted the missionaries this morning saying she’d be there but she blew us off. We hung out at the Institute waiting for a log time but she never came and she wouldn’t pick up the phone. Her boyfriend who was also investigating quit too. :(
On the bright side, I got to see Elder McCarrey again before the leaves tomorrow, but still. It’s sad.
Maybe in the future…
After work today I have a lesson with an investigator. She was really progressing. But then the other day she told the missionaries that she knows in her heart that this church is true (she had already comitted to bapism) but she changed her mind because of the Word of Wisdom. :(
She agreed to one more lesson though. This is basically make it or break it.

I’ve been to all of her lessons and she’s really great. I can’t wait to hear what she thought about church (her first time at an LDS service) last Sunday!

For the last few days, every advertisement I’ve seen has been for “LDS Wedding Photography” or “The Dress of Your Dreams.” You google something like “modest wedding gowns” one time (okay, maybe more than once, but only on one or two occasions!) and the the web will never let you live it down.
